An Entire Irish Pub Honors Their Friend Who Passed Away By Singing “Mr. Brightside” And It’s Absolutely Beautiful

Irishman Brian O’Sullivan decided the best way to remember his late friend Ger ‘Farmer’ Foley would be to deliver a rendition of The Killers’ Mr. Brightside. He managed to get everyone inside the pub to sing along with him, and together they created a truly magical moment.

Even the band who created the hit song was impressed. They sent out the tweet you see below, offering Brian a chance to take the stage with them if their lead singer ever needs a break.

I’ll admit, I cried while watching the video. Not because it was sad or depressing. I cried because it was so powerful and inspiring.

It makes you think, “Would anyone stand on a bar, rip their shirt off and sing a song to celebrate my life?” Sadly, the answer is probably no.

Let’s change that!
