Imagine a place where every genre of music exists. You’re probably thinking of streaming services, such as Spotify and Pandora. Now imagine all of them on a map.

Everynoise maps every genre according to their sounds. In the north you’ll find eclectic tunes, like dark minimal techno and groove room. Venture down south and you’ll discover more organic ones, such as Mexican traditional and vintage Swedish pop. The west is denser, featuring opera and liturgical. That leaves the east, which is bouncier with oratory and gypsy jazz.

Just click and listen, then compare it to the rest of the map. You’ll probably discover genres you didn’t even know existed. Our only warning is that you could easily spend hours on this site.
