First Official White House Website Is Still Online And It Looks Hilariously Like A Geocities Page

For those of you who remember the early days of the internet, you might know just how far we’ve come since then. Websites now look a lot more aesthetically appealing than they did during those first few years, not to mention being more functional. While it can be hard to find some of these old relics, it is possible to come across them every now and then. One of the funniest of these sites has to be the very first White House website. It looks just like an old Geocities page!

The first official website for the White House launched in 1994 during the Clinton-Gore administration, well before the majority of Americans had home access to the Internet. The semi-functional site remains preserved by the National Archives and Records Administration.

Here are just a few of the images you can find on the website!
