This how-to video shows an amazingly simple way to make lovely paper star ornaments to hang from your tree or mantle. You could also string several together to use as a garland.
What you’ll need:
Scissors
Enough paper to make 10 to 14 circles, measuring 3 1/2″ to 4″ each. (Approximately 3-5 standard 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheets per star. Amounts will vary when using other papers, such as gift wrapping paper or construction paper.)
1 nickel
1 sharpened pencil
Glue
Glitter(optional)
String
Sharp skewer or similar(to make holes in the center of the circles)
Sequins, small buttons, or beads (2 per star)
1 large darning needle
Helpful hint:
Watch how she first centers the pencil, then rolls it back a little to catch the corner of the paper, before rolling it forward to make the points.
