Student Creates Hyperlapse World Tour Using Nothing But Google Screenshots

Have you ever wanted to go to Paris, Italy, or San Francisco? Sure, most of us have but what if I told you that you could go to all of these places without even leaving your chair.

Sounds impossible, right?

Wrong! A graphic design student Matteo Archondis made it possible for us all to do just that. He created a hyperlapse video tour including incredible landmarks all over the world.

He created this amazing video using screenshots from Google maps. It took him two days to take all the screenshots, and then a week’s worth of editing to get the incredible results below.

Matteo created this video as a tribute to Google Maps 12th birthday, and to show everyone that even though you may not have the money travel you can see still see the world.

Happy Birthday Google Maps!
