This Man Made An Organ Out Of Paper – And Yes, It Can Be Played

We’ve all heard of origami and seen some interesting things made from paper. But who thought that making an organ was possible.

Aliaksei Zholner is famous for making paper models. This time he constructed a working paper organ, and it sounds just like a real one would. A pipe organ can cost more than $200,000 and weigh thousands of pounds. This one, on the other hand, is not that expensive.

This tiny instrument has 18 functional keys and a balloon is used to pump the air into the reeds. There are some plastic parts, but they are only installed so we can see what is happening inside the instrument.
