Finding covers of classic songs on YouTube can be a dangerous adventure. Not every cover is going to sound great. In fact, some of them are so terrible that you’ll never be able to enjoy the song again.
I understand not everyone wants to take that risk. They would rather live in a bubble and pretend covers don’t exist. The original version of your favorite tune is good enough for you. But I am here to tell you that you’re missing out on some fantastic music.
And to prove this to you, I have found three of my favorite covers on YouTube. To me, a great cover makes you forget about the original version. It makes you feel like you’re listening to the song for the first time again. It’s less about how great the cover artist’s voice is, and more about the passion and uniqueness behind the music.
