If you’re like me, you suffer from allergies year-round. And now that the weather is starting to get cooler, most of us can probably expect to get at least one cold during the winter.
So is there a fast and easy way to unstuff your nose? Prevention magazine thinks so, and here are two tips they have provided for clearing your stuffed nose:
- Try pressing the tip of your tongue on top of your mouth. Release your tongue and press your fingers in between your eyebrows. Repeat this “press and tap” for about 20 seconds to help clear the congestion.
- Try tipping your head back and pinching your nose for as long as possible. Then tip your head back to face forward, and you should feel a release.
Do these really work? Well, I just tried the second one and my sinuses are clearer than they’ve been in days. Here’s a video of the techniques and what makes them work.
