There is nothing nearly as frustrating as a piece of paper that awaits you under your windshield wiper. If you managed to get to your car just a few minutes earlier you could treat yourself with something nice. Instead you have to pay an excruciating amount of money because you didn’t make it to your car in time.
Yes, I’m talking about a parking ticket.
In this case the parking ticket was issued two minutes before 10:00, which was the time after which it was legal to park in that spot. When Judge Frank Caprio read the violation out loud and jokingly commented, “Oh no.”
The women stated that in her defense the car clock showed it was 10:00 when she was handed the ticket.
“Inspector Quinn what does justice demand in this case? jail?” the judge asked in jest.
to which the inspector replied, “10:00 means 10:00, judge. my father told me that growing up.”
Soon after that the Judge dismissed the ridiculous ticket.
