A man once lived in a trailer, one that has no running water and no heat at all.
He saved every penny he got from selling newspapers on the streets of Nashville, Tennessee, and bought himself a home.
After five years of working by selling copies of The Contributor, a street newspaper sold by Nashville’s homeless community, he has finally saved enough money to buy a house.
Martinez said:
“It has given us a job. We are licensed vendors. We are out there. We’re selling, we’re working. We buy our papers wholesale and we sell them retail just like any other merchant out there.”
This is a living proof that hard work does pay off.
Didn’t this make you stand up and work for what you want?
