From time to time, we hear of the eccentrities of members of royal families. Those pertaining to Middle Eastern countries seem to astound us more than others with their lavish lifestyles. We are surprised once again thanks to the release of a photo like the one below.
This photo was posted by @lensoo on Reddit three days ago and has received over 4300 comments so far. The caption allows us to know that a Saudi prince is responsible for booking the flight for his 80 hawks. Other users went on to identify them as falcons. Prominent airlines in the Middle East like Qatar Airways or Etihad Airways have no problem accepting such birds on their airplanes. I am not sure which is more startling, to allow these unpredictable animals onboard or to have their documentation all in order. To learn more about the story please refer to NDTV.
