Getting hooked up on these technological gadgets we forget that we live in a wonderful world, we are surrounded by the beauty of nature. We forget to explore the outside world and enjoy its creation, the most striking of these is the unique distinctness in the color that surrounds us. This beauty will only manifest to the eyes that know how to look for it. Aren’t we lucky to be enjoying this?
Some may not be as lucky in taking pleasure in all these wonderful colors nature is giving us. We have this thing called color deficiency or color blindness, this is when color is not seen the normal way. When one has this deficiency it does not mean that they only see black and white, they also see colors but cannot distinguish between certain colors. This usually happens between greens and reds and sometimes blues.
Carson Stafford’s grandfather is color blind, so his father and aunt all pitched in to gift him with a pair of EnChroma glasses for his 66th birthday party. When he was given the box, he slowly opened it and was wondering what could it be, when he saw the glasses he tried it on then took it off but put it back on. He was so speechless then he started to cry, and slowly leaned back on his chair and looked around, he even took off his hat and checked the color.
