Dear diary: As a teenager, you used to be my one safe place to put life into words; you knew all my secrets, all my dreams, and wildest ideas. As I grew up, I forgot about you and exchanged paper for iPhone notes, calendars to get everything together and a media gallery to dig into memories… but I’m so glad we’ve found our ‘adult’ way back: bullet journaling.
I am sure you might have heard of this analog system for the digital age that combines planning with mindfulness and organization in the prettiest way possible. If you LOVE planners, to-do lists, scrapbooking, diaries, or you are just looking for a way to be more organized you need to give this a chance!
Trust me, it sounds way more complicated than what it is. All you need to get started is a journal (or notebook), a pen of your choice, a ruler and some optional washi tape, markers or stickers – just for fun!
Once you have the basics, the most difficult part seems to set everything up. I found this very useful infographic guide at Notey that explains step-by-step how to design and organize your own bullet journal. Everything that follows is up to you and your imagination!
Happy journaling!
P.S. Watch out for too many decorations! – trust me on that one. ?
