A color scheme was present, so was a prom court, and there were even some memorable dance moves and some happy seniors certainly loved taking a trip down memory lane.

The activity director of the Palace, Debbie Horvitz, worked with high school students at TERRA Environmental Research Institute to plan the event which took place on April 21.

“Teenagers don’t see wrinkles. They don’t see frailty. They see someone new- someone they want to learn from. The elderly have so much knowledge to give to students and vice versa, the elderly need the young to bring the spirit,” Horvitz said.
