Go Hunting For Giants In The Danish Wilderness

Fancy going on a hunt for giants?

Now you can, thanks to Danish artist Thomas Dambo. In a recent article on boredpanda.com, Dambo shared how over the last three years he has created 25 mammoth sculptures using recycled materials. Recently, he also constructed six whimsical giants and hid them in the wilderness of Copenhagen, his hometown.

The giants can be found using a treasure map. There are also poems engraved into a stone near each sculpture which provide hints on how to find them.

The fantastic works of art are made from 600 old pallets, an old wooden shed, a fence and scavenged materials. Local volunteers helped Dambo build the giants, so each creation was named after one of the volunteers.

“I hope my art will inspire people to see the big potential in recycling and taking better care of our planet,” Dambo said.
