✨ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE✨ Your skin is your largest organ, so you HAVE TO take care of it! ↔️Antioxidants will protect the skin by limiting the production of free radicals that damage its cells. They also have anti inflammatory & skin firming benefits, they can treat scars, repair sun damage & when it comes to anti-aging, the research is clear: they are ESSENTIAL & the more you apply to the skin, the better! Antioxidants include: vitamins E, C, A (Retinol), Resveratrol, Green tea. ___________________ Cocoa powder is SUPER rich in antioxidants, so I made it today's main ingredient. Quoting WebMD: "Researchers found the antioxidant activity of dark chocolate and cocoa powder was equivalent to or higher than that found in some other so-called “super fruit" powders or juices, including acai berry, blueberry, cranberry, and pomegranate." Here are 2 recipes: 1 is super easy, the other more complex, but both have amazing benefits. You choose. I do both. ___________________ MASK 1 (I do this 1/week): 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1 tablespoon honey 1 tablespoon plain yogurt Apply evenly & generously onto the face & leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water ___________________ MASK 2 (I do this 1/month): 1 tablespoon cocoa powder 2 teaspoons Moroccan red clay (re-balances & smooths skin) 1/2 teaspoon jojoba oil 1/2 small cup green tea (add a little at a time & mix) Apply & relax for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. ___________________ Disclaimer: Always test out any products on a small patch of skin, to see if you're allergic to any of the ingredients. Everyone is different so results will vary from person to person. Give this a ❤️ and tag a friend who'd love to try this too! Music🎶: Rochelle – All night long (Chris Vivian remix)
