17-Year-Old Guitar Prodigy Plays Beethoven Like You’ve Never Heard It

YouTube is known for many things, which includes several amateurs covering popular music. However, not everyone goes out of his or her way to cover music that originates from Ludwig van Beethoven, and that is why we’re so in love with 17-year old French guitarist, Tina S.

Tina S took the time out to deliver a cover of the third movement of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata.” But here’s the thing, this is not your regular cover of the popular music. She made sure to give it a heavy metal arrangement, and from my point of view, it sounds much better than the original.

That’s mainly because I’m such a huge fan of heavy metal and would love to see more covers of Beethoven’s work take a turn similar to what Tina has done here.

For those who might be wondering, Tina S is playing her Vigier Excalibur Custom guitar. The person filming her is none other than Renaud Louis-Servais, her guitar instructor.

There’s a lot more of Tina via her YouTube channel, which is accessible right here. She has been playing the guitar ever since she was eight years old, and from what I can tell, she has mastered the art of the electric guitar.

At the end of the day, I’d love to see Tina S. as the head of her own rock band. Who knows, she could be the next Joan Jett in the making.
