Forget The Turducken This Holiday Season. Here Comes Piecaken!

A few years ago, a new fad hit the culinary world. It was a called a turducken. Turducken, for the unintiated, is a chicken stuffed inside a duck, stuffed inside a turkey.

But turducken is so passé now, and that’s largely thanks to a new creation known as the piecaken. Piecaken is a pie cooked into the middle of a cake.

Piecaken has become so popular so quickly that there’s even a blog filled with recipes for those who wish to whip up one of these awesome desserts.

Meanwhile, here’s a look at some piecakens that will likely either leave you salivating or reaching for an antacid.
