A Pakistani Girl Just Won International Figure Skating Tournament In Austria

We don’t often hear about champion Pakistani figure skaters because it’s a largely unknown sport in Pakistan. However, one young girl aims to change that. Mallak Faisal Zafar has a dream of becoming a champion figure skater and she’s not going to let anything stop her.

Mallak started skating when she was only five years old and she just won her first international competition, the International Figure Skating Tournament in Austria.

At the 24th Annual Eiscup Innsbruck, Mallak won first place in the Basic Novice Girls II category. Her ultimate goal is to represent Pakistan at the Winter Olympics. Watch her below.
