Because of the pandemic, a lot of people around the world were forced into changes that they never thought they would face in their entire life. With the whole world adjusting and trying their best to adapt to the new normal, a lot of people are left with their complaints and rants. However, there are those who seem to be adapting well and are enjoying the changes they are going through. While some are complaining, some are being an inspiration to a lot of people.
Professor Krohn is an English professor at the University of St. Thomas, and has been enjoying it for over 50 years already. The 91-year-old professor quickly became viral when his daughter posted a photo of him while he is hunched in front of the computer teaching his online class. In Julia’s words; “My father has been a professor of English at The University of St. Thomas for 50+ years. Here he is, at 91-years-old, embracing virtual teaching like a BOSS. Listening to and watching him teach Homer’s The Odyssey is a true gift. He’s been teaching it for decades, and yet he has the passion and excitement for the text as though it’s the first time. These kids have no idea how lucky they are.”
The kids that Professor Krohn teaches are indeed lucky to have someone as dedicated as him. In the photo, the old man is dressed up in a polo top as well as slacks and leather shoes. Talk about dedication, right? Somebody in the comments even said that he is 68 and yet he just wears a t-shirt when he teaches. Another one chirped in and said she only wears slippers. And yet, here is an old man, obviously still enjoying what he is doing.
