For those of you watching on Disney Plus, there may be some movies or series on there you didn’t know about. There is so much content on there that a lot of it gets overlooked. So, here are some hidden gems that you might want to explore.

1. Lilo and Stitch: The Series

Lilo and Stitch are beloved Disney characters that have been in a few films, but did you know there is a series about them? In the movies, the other alien experiments land in Hawaii in water-activated pods. In the series, Lilo and Stitch must catch the other alien experiments before the evil scientist does.

2. Pixar Sparkshorts

One of the many great choices Pixar made was to let employees make any short they want. You can find many great shorts you’ve already seen in the theatres, plus many new ones. One of the new ones, Out, includes the first gay character in a Disney short.

3. Destino

This short was over fifty years in the making. It is a collaboration between Salvador Dali and Walt Disney and it tells the romance of Chronos, the god of time, and a mortal woman. The art in this is breathtaking.

This documentary tells the story of the making of the original Star Wars movies in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

This is an underrated and funny Disney classic featuring David Spade and John Goodman. It tends to be overlooked by many fans, but it definitely deserves another watch.
