It never ceases to amaze me when I find one of our cats sleeping somewhere odd. Despite all the cozy beds we’ve bought over the years, they all seem to love snoozing on top of anything flat and new in the house. It doesn’t have to be comfortable or even warm, so long as it’s new.
Recently my wife bought a cat treadmill that looks like a giant hamster wheel. And the most activity I’ve seen on that thing so far had been cats scratching on it and, of course, taking naps on the bottom of the wheel.
Now, that isn’t to say that they don’t love their beds, but for cats, the temptation to rest in new and exciting places is just too tempting to resist — especially tiny cardboard boxes! However, in this video, Sophie had decided to nap in style after her owners introduced an adorable tiny cat bed that looks just like a human bed. You can see the cat climb inside and knead around a bit before turning in a circle and settling in. Watch the cute video below.
