I can’t really think of one person that I have ever come across that just doesn’t like Betty White. From her sweet kind heart towards animals to her feisty and humorous personality, White has graced us in show business for 75 amazing years.
Even better, Betty White just turned 95 years old and she sat down with Katie Couric to talk about her life, her love of animals, and her ninety five years on earth. White told Couric:
“I just appreciate the fact that people have been so kind to me all these years. The fact that I’m still working — that’s the thing I’m most grateful for, that I still get asked for jobs.”
Betty White has never been shy about her love for animals, and has had an affection for them since she was a little girl. She felt that she and animals, “spoke the same language.” She recently talked about this and the closing of Ringling Brothers Circus.
After this Betty White spoke about the tragic loss of so many beloved stars in 2016 and how she felt about the GoFundMe campaign set out to protect White from 2016.
And don’t get it wrong, Betty White is just as ferocious and vivrant about our country and our rights as she was when she was in her twenties. Talking about this country and our future White stated:
“It’s the time to buckle down and work positively as much as you can,” she says. “Just think, ‘All right, there’s nothing I can do about that right now. But I can do my best in my little circle. So if I do that, maybe you’ll do your best and we’ll get through this.”
