Akira Armstrong scored the chance to be in TWO Beyoncé videos, so she sought representation when she came to L.A. to shoot them. After struggling to find an agency that would take her, she decided to flip the script on what a dancer’s body should look like. To Akira, Pretty Big Movement is all about breaking stereotypes and being comfortable with your body. You don’t have to be skinny, you just have to know how to move.
