Sophia Wilcox, 21, surprised her step-father by giving him the most heartwarming gift any father could ever get. According to Sophia, her stepdad left inspirational notes at her door during her middle school years, and she kept every last one of them.

Brian has been an important part of Sophia’s life these past ten years. According to her, Brian has always been very supportive and had always tried to brighten her day, which she is very grateful for. In an interview, she said, “He’s been in my life for about 10 years now. He’s a very supportive man and always tries to make me laugh, even on a bad day. He’s changed how I see the world and I’m very grateful for that.”
