A galaxy from very far away will land on 2019 at the happiest place on earth! but that’s not news. How about a sneak peek into the creative minds of the Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Imagineering team behind the design of this new galactic lands?
The project promises a 14 acre expansion at Orlando and Anaheim parks of an unknown destination somewhere on the Outer Rim with unusual, interesting characters and apparently on a whole new planet (that has always been there, but we have never been able to experience, until now!) – and yes, it seems like we will be able to pilot the Millennium Falcon!!! #YAAAASSS
The Disney Parks Blog describes this new atmosphere as a far-a-way village that was once popular along the old interstellar trade routes but is now somehow forgotten.
“Home to those who prefer less attention, it has become a thriving port for smugglers, rogue traders, and adventurers traveling between the frontier and uncharted space. It’s also a convenient safe-haven for others intent on avoiding the expanding reach of the First Order.”
