Four Men Perform Haunting Cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ in an Empty Church

What the world needs now is “Hallelujah” because this song is like a prayer praising God and it means unity and hope. 2020 has been a bleak and tough year for the entire world. This song is written by Leonard Cohen a Canadian singer and it has hundreds of covers and videos. Each with their own version and style.

Just empty your minds with all the material things in this world, simply close your eyes and listen. Because this rendition of “Hallelujah” will enchant you and will open the gate of heaven. Hope will be within your reach and nothing else will matter. The entire version will give you goosebumps that you will be touched and will surely love them. This version will also warm your heart, especially it was done in a solemn Church of the Myers Park United Methodist in Charlotte, North Carolina.

They are Simply Three composed of Glen McDaniel, Nick Villalobos, and Zack Clark, just cello, violin, and bass. They are joined that completed the four by Robert Moody the man on vocals, who is actually the group’s maestro and conductor of the youth orchestra back in high where they were members of the Phoenix Youth Orchestra. Now that they are back with their mentor showcasing their talents with the release of an awesome cover is a great idea.

It started off with just the instrument filling the empty church, followed by the stunning voice of Moody that completes the rest of the ensemble. But looking at him no one wouldn’t think that he can come out with an amazing voice. But each one has given their best in rendering their instrument that took the melody to its peak that made the whole performance enchanting and captivating.
