Two Cops Go Viral When a Video of Them Singing ‘My Girl’ Was Posted Online

It’s so amazing seeing two cops teaming up not only running after criminals and other lawbreakers but singing wonderful songs. When they got together as partners something clicked. They travel together singing all the time in the car while cruising around. Michael Norwood was a former basketball player and the other is Moe Badger a gospel singer and they came together as cops and according to them, that was how they work by singing. Their musical partnership became sensational after the officers recorded their singing inside the Buffalo Restaurant. When people see them they always demand a song even those they pulled over.

Both cops are using their music to connect with the community that people will change the opinion they have with police officers, and the antagonism towards them will ward off. And according to them to be honest there is a definite line that divides the community with the police officers. They aim to mend that line between them, and they think it’s working when they began this program called “COPSS” meaning Children Overcoming Police Stereotypes through sports. They work on the kids by running basketball games all over Buffalo, they built a relationship into these kids that they not only embrace the cops but they wanted to be like them.

“My Girl” is a soul music song recorded by The Temptations for the Gordy (Motown) record label. Written and produced by Smokey Robinson and Ronald White of the Miracles. It became the Temptations’ first U.S. number 1 single and their signature song. And this also became the go-to-sing of the sensational cops tandem because according to them this is a song that everybody knows. It also has a movie with the same title that captured the hearts of the people.
