Watch Lindsey Stirling’s Soul-Stirring Performance of ‘Carol of the Bells’

Music is one of humankind’s most redeeming qualities. While it can be said that as a species, we’ve found many ways to make war and do harm to each other and nature, you could also say we’ve found just as many if not more ways to make beautiful music. In the world, it’s estimated that there are over 1,500 instruments. Through these devices, we can produce sounds that express feelings, thoughts, and emotions beyond the boundaries of our own voices. And while the world is filled with hundreds of amazing instruments that produce beautiful music, one of the most popular and difficult to master has to be the violin.

However, American dancer, songwriter, and violinist Lindsey Stirling have not only mastered the violin; she’s found a way to integrate her graceful dance moves with her exquisite violin skills for some unforgettable performances.

Stirling was a quarter-finalist on the fifth season of America’s Got Talent back in 2010. Would you believe that Pierce Morgan actually told Lindsey that she wasn’t talented enough to do what she loves for a living? Well, over a decade later, I think it’s safe to say that we can add that comment to a long list of Morgan’s failed predictions.

While Lindsey admits that the TV host’s words were “a bit humiliating,” she went on to prove him wrong, enjoying an amazing career by being true to herself. And in the video below, we can see Lindsey at her finest as she performs the holiday classic “Carol of the Bells.”

Lindsey Stirling is living proof of how hard work and self-belief in your own vision can propel talented people to heights they never imagined. Also, please be sure to share the treasure of her amazing performance with your friends and family.
