Guy on a Train Invites Other Passengers to Sing ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’

How would you like to be treated when starting your Monday? With coffee, hugs, or inspirational phrases? But what about getting a chance to get serenaded with a lively performance while in your commute on a Monday morning? Wow! What a great treat in helping beat those Monday Blues away! In this video, the passengers in their early ride to work have witnessed a musical performance that these men performed for them. The sad and sleepy look from the passenger’s faces were all replaced with bright and contagious smiles, filling the train with laughter, and a new sense of instant camaraderie was ignited.

Besides the opera-like performance, the commuters listened to this most loved ballad that was first sung by famous actress and singer Judy Garland. Purposely composed for the movie “The Wizard of Oz,” this classic song became a national anthem to many artists. Several covers were released for many decades. The song never fails always to stand out. Thanks to the brilliance of the composer Harold Harlen and Hip Harburg, they produce a piece that lasted many lifetimes. Every beat of the melody fits every artistic taste, making it more lovable. You certainly agree with me on this truth! Why? Whether you love reggae or pop, the song fits just right.

Even the movies’ world also gets so enamored by this golden song’s magic, making it played in several popular films’ background. And my favorite movie with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” song on it is the movie “Meet Joe Black.” Many music lovers have unique reasons for their admiration for this song. But for me, it is a song full of hopes that makes it so comforting and uplifting to my soul.
