Karolina Protsenko’s ‘Believer’ Violin Cover Captivates Audience with Her Face, Talent, and Moves

What music comes into your mind whenever you see a violin? Classical music, am I right? That is the most obvious answer, but a girl that I stumbled upon on YouTube changed my mind. This talented girl with an angelic face is playing her violin in the beat of the famous pop-rock “Believer” by the Imagine Dragons on the busy street of California.

“Believer” is written by the main vocalist of the band, Dan Reynolds. According to him “The meaning of the song is really reflecting on specific things in my life that were painful, whether it was anxiety and dealing with crowds, feeling overwhelmed by that or the success of the band, disease, going through depression—anything that was a source of pain in my life. And just rising above that, finding a place of perspective where I could be appreciative of the pain in my life and make it my greatest strength.”

Based on her personal website, Karolina is only 11 years old. But her talent naturally flows on her blood since birth, being she is from a musical family. Her parents play guitar and piano. Her family is originally from Ukraine, but they migrated to the United States when Carolina was six years old. She’s been busking in the streets of California for two years now, but her incredible talent and amazing performance caused her to captivate the hearts of millions of people worldwide. She was even featured in the Ellen Degeneres Show.
