It was commissioned for the soundtrack of the action film “Furious 7” as a tribute to Paul Walker who died in a vehicle accident last 2013 in Valencia, California. The song depicts the memories shared by two friends and the longingness of one of them to see the other friend again. With its nostalgic meaning, you cannot help but feel a little emotional whenever you hear this song.
However, one American children’s choir intensified the emotional power of this song in ways that you cannot imagine. One Voice Children’s Choir was founded in 2002 when the Winter Olympic Games were in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nowadays, this incredibly talented choir already became a quarter-finalist on the famous TV talent program America’s Got Talent, they’ve performed at the White House and they’ve been touring in many countries and across the United States. According to their website, their mission is to spread hope, joy, and love through their original arrangement of popular music. And, that is what they achieved in their own rendition of “See You Again”.
