One Voice Children’s Choir Sings an Emotional ‘See You Again’ Version

“See You Again” is an emotional song recorded by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth and was released last 2015. It was commissioned for the soundtrack of the action film “Furious 7” as a tribute to Paul Walker who died in a vehicle accident last 2013 in Valencia, California. The song depicts the memories shared by two friends and the longingness of one of them to see the other friend again. With its nostalgic meaning, you cannot help but feel a little emotional whenever you hear this song.

However, one American children’s choir intensified the emotional power of this song in ways that you cannot imagine. One Voice Children’s Choir was founded in 2002 when the Winter Olympic Games were in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nowadays, this incredibly talented choir already became a quarter-finalist on the famous TV talent program America’s Got Talent, they’ve performed at the White House and they’ve been touring in many countries and across the United States. According to their website, their mission is to spread hope, joy, and love through their original arrangement of popular music. And, that is what they achieved in their own rendition of “See You Again”.

On one sunny day in New York City, last 2019 with the famous Brooklyn Bridge in the background, the highly talented children showcased their angelic voices. Wearing all white, they filled the bright bustling city with the beautiful and emotional melody of the well-known movie soundtrack. The way their voices harmoniously blend will make you close your eyes and remember your long-lost friend.
