10-Year-Old Nandi Bushell is a One-Girl-Band, Playing ‘Cochise’ by Audioslave

Nandi Bushell is an amazing young musician that has amazed professionals and audiences alike. Her skills have led her to cover many iconic songs in a range of genres. Her musical talent extends to drums, lead guitar, and bass guitar, and she’s no slouch on any of them!

The evidence can be found on her YouTube channel, where she has over 177,000 subscribers, and her videos have been viewed over 21 million times! I don’t know about you, but I am lucky to get my own family to follow my content, let alone musical stars like Dave Grohl, Lenny Kravitz, and Tom Morello.

The Stars Align

Lenny Kravitz had a jam session with Nandi at the O2 Arena in London. Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine shared her cover of “Guerilla Radio” in a Black Lives Matter tribute, where she played every instrument herself. He later sent her his signature Fender Soul Power Telecaster guitar to keep her passions going.

Dave Grohl has become her “Friend in Rock,” exchanging drumming challenges with her online. He was challenged by her to play a song he wrote but hadn’t performed since 1997. He is so inspired and impressed by Nandi that he wrote a theme song specifically for her!

I mean, I’m sure your kids are adorable when they play “Hot Crossed Buns” on their recorder. However, I think we can all agree that Nandi sets the bar pretty high with her amazing videos.
