Global music icon Andrea Bocelli has never failed to bring perfection on stage. His divine voice and undeniable charisma have filled the world with so much happiness and positivity. And so, when his son Matteo Bocelli entered the music scene, everyone was delighted. Turns out, besides looking like a 23-year-old Andrea Bocelli, Matteo also has an angelic voice just like his father. Together, they made everyone swoon with their heartwarming relationship and honeyed tones. Perhaps the gentlemen’s most notable duet is from Andrea’s album, Si, wherein they sang their emotional take of the song, “Fall on Me”.
Penned by American duo Ian Axel and Chad King (also known as A Great Big World), the inspiring piece even perfectly painted the loving connection between the Bocelli’s themselves. And in 2018, the world was bestowed with its powerful message, paired with the expressive and striking melody of the two. Not to mention that the remarkable duo looked dashing as ever in the official music video of the song. Accompanied by a world-renowned orchestra, their synergy has created a magic that lasted for a few minutes as they sang back to back. It’ll surely make you feel a lot of things!
“Fly like a cannonball, straight to my soul, tear me to pieces and make me feel whole, I’m willing to fight for it and carry this weight,” Matteo started gracefully and sweetly as he touched the keys of his grand piano. This was then followed by Andrea’s well-trained vocals, crooning the song’s Italian version. As expected, it was beyond beautiful! Finally, the two striking voices started to blend. Matteo’s careful yet exquisite voice perfectly harmonized Andrea’s controlled and wonderful voice. The result was breathtaking! Their heartfelt tribute to each other was too pure and precious, it just makes you cry.
Watch the special father-son duet that’ll surely pluck the strings of your heart.
Bravissimo! The wonderful piece was even featured in the end credits of Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” and continues to be a crowd favorite.
